The Premises Information Box Initiative originated with the Fire Engineering Group of London Fire Brigade. In the early phases of any fire or emergency, the Incident Commander must make timely decisions on how best to bring an incident under control.
Effective provision of information to the Fire & Rescue Service, can enhance their response plan.
